For the experienced and adventurous rafter, Section IV offers the southeast’s most fabled set of rapids, the Five Falls. Three heart-pounding Class IV/V rapids (depending on water level) are strung together over a 1/4 mile gorge, where the river drops more than 75 feet through Entrance, Corkscrew, Crack-In-the-Rock, Jawbone, and Sock’em Dog. This is a fully guided trip, and guests should be prepared to be active participants in this rafting experience.

Minimum Age: 12 years
Intensity Level: Strenuous. Good health and previous white water experience strongly recommended. Fully guided.
Trip Length: Approximately 7 hours
Meals: Buffet lunch on the river.
Equipment Furnished: Raft, paddle, PFD, helmet, paddling jacket, rental wet suit (free during March, April, October & November), and rental booties ($5).
